Q1. Does MOCOMOCO support invoice payments (post-payment) for agencies?
Yes, we support invoice billing and bank transfers for registered travel agencies and educational institutions. First-time agency partners are welcome to contact us in advance.
Q2. Is there a cancellation fee if a trip is canceled due to severe weather?
No cancellation fee will be charged if a school trip or tour is canceled or postponed due to severe weather. You can book with complete peace of mind.
Q3. What is the maximum group capacity per time slot?
We can dress up to 70 guests per hour. For larger groups, we can flexibly accommodate by staggering timeslots or extending operating schedules.
Q4. Is there a waiting area for teachers or tour escorts?
Escorts are welcome to accompany guests inside during dressing. Depending on store conditions, we can also guide escorts to nearby waiting areas.
Q5. Are there tour bus parking facilities near MOCOMOCO stores?
While stores do not have dedicated private bus lots, we can guide bus drivers to nearby official tour bus drop-off locations (especially in Kiyomizu-dera & Arashiyama).
Q6. Can large luggage and suitcases be stored during the rental?
Yes, large suitcases, backpacks, and carry-ons can be stored free of charge at all MOCOMOCO branch locations.
Q7. How long does the Kimono selection process take?
On average, selection takes around 20–30 minutes for a group of 10 to 20 guests. Providing gender ratios and height details in advance ensures faster turnaround.
Q8. Can MOCOMOCO accommodate non-Japanese speaking foreign groups?
Yes! We have on-site staff fluent in English, Chinese, and Korean to provide smooth communication for international tour groups.
